Grants

Small grants can be applied for from the Donner Institute for activities that align with the institute’s purpose, such as guest lectures, courses, network meetings, and seminars. Grants of up to 1,000 euros can be applied for on a rolling basis. Decisions are made by the Research Manager and the Chair of the Board. For grants exceeding 1,000 euros, decisions are made by the institute’s board at its spring and autumn meetings in March and October. The application deadlines are 15 February and 15 September.  

Applications with a budget should be sent to the Research Manager at sofia.sjo@abo.fi. The Research Manager also answers questions regarding the grants. 

All recipients of grants should submit a report on how the funds were used.
