Approaching Religion 15/1 on lived religion and lived theology
The new issue of Approaching Religion presents perspectives on lived religion and lived theology. The issue is a Polin issue and several of the articles are based on papers presented at the Research Conference in Theology and Religion held in Turku/Åbo in May 2024 in co-operation with the Polin Institute and Finnish learned associations in the field of theology and the study of religions. The authors build on research in lived religion and lived theology and develop these perspectives by among other things exploring conversion and women in religious minorities in Finland, xenophobia in South Africa and belief in spirits in Madagascar.
Contributing authors are Ilona Blumgrund (Åbo Akademi University), Mitra Härkönen (University of Helsinki), Clementine Nishimwe (the Polin Insitute/Åbo Akademi University), George Nche (University of Johannesburg), Jenni Mölkänen (University of Eastern Finland) och Martina Björkander (the Polin Institute/Åbo Akademi University).
