The ATLA database

The Donner Institute supports research by funding several different research resources. One of the most important is the Atla Religion Database, a comprehensive database containing indexed material relevant to research in religion and theology. The database is an excellent starting point for a wide range of research projects in the study of religion and theology. Access to the Atla Religion Database requires a subscription through an academic library. The Donner Institute funds the Åbo Akademi University Library’s subscription to the database. Through the Alma library system, all researchers and students at Åbo Akademi University therefore have access to the Atla Religion Database.
